EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE


The executive committee is composed of the executive (administrative) officers and the members of the Board. Guided by the goals and objectives of ACUCA, the executive officers are tasked with the execution and administration of the ACUCA plans and programs. These officers include the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and the Secretary-General. The members of the Board are representatives of member institutions. Specifically, countries with at least four members will have a seat in the Board. Countries with less than four member institutions will be grouped together. The General Secretary will serve as the secretary of the Executive Committee but has no voting rights. Among the duties and powers of the Executive Committee are: to approve projects and proposals, to act on behalf of the Association in between general assemblies, to approve new memberships of the Association, to recommend to the General Assembly the approval of biennial and management conferences’ programmes, budget, and necessary amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws.


SOUTH KOREA
PROF. KWANG SUP LEE

Kwang-Sup Lee is a Korean polymer chemist and educator. He is the current president of Hannam University, South Korea. A recipient of the Outstanding Researcher award of Korea Ministry of Science and Technology, and Outstanding Professor awardee of Hannam University.

PROF. TOMOKO UEKI
| VICE PRESIDENT

Tomoko Ueki is the first female president of Doshisha University, Japan. She is concurrently serving as a Professor in the Japanese Literature Course (Doctoral program), Graduate School of Letters, Doshisha University.

PROF. KATSUNOBU KIHARA | OFFICER DESIGNATE

Katsunobu Kihara is a Faculty of Social Studies, Department of Social Welfare, Doshisha University, Japan, concurrently serving as Assistant to the President.

HONG KONG
PROF. ALEXANDER WAI
| TREASURER

Alexander Wai assumed the position of President and Vice-Chancellor of the Hong Kong Baptist University, Hongkong on February 2021. He was a former Deputy President and Provost of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

REV. HUNG TSE | OFFICER DESIGNATE

Hung Tse currently serves as Chaplain of Hong Kong Baptist University. In response to his calling to full-time ministry, he moved to the US and served in a Christian organization headquartered in New York City for many years. Rev. Tse returned to Hong Kong in 2018 and joined HKBU to serve as Chaplain of the University in 2019.

SOUTH KOREA
PROF. KITAI KIM

Kitai Kim currently serves as the Associate Dean of Global Relations and Chair of the Department of Global Media & Culture at Hannam University, Korea. He is concurrently serving as an officer designate to the ACUCA and the Association of Presbyterian Colleges & Universities (APCU) in the United States.

DR. CHRISTIANNA SINGH

Christianna Singh is the Principal of Lady Doak College, India, and a strong proponent of the use of teaching and learning with technology within higher education.

TAIWAN
DR. IN-MING LEE

In-Ming Lee is the president of Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan. He was a former Vice President and Dean of International and Cross-Strait Education before he became the president of the same institution.

Ta-Chin Wei is concurrently the officer designate to ACUCA and the Dean of International and Cross-Strait Education.

Suluck Pattarathmmas is the President of the Christian University of Thailand, part of the Church of Christ in Thailand Foundation. President Pattarathmmas was the former Head of the Department of Finance and served on various committees at Thammasat University.

Agustinus Prasetyantoko is an economist and rector of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. He serve as the dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Science at Atma Jaya before becoming president.
